WHY?

The UK throws away around 1 Billion batteries a year. Of these, only 3% of these were recycled in 2009.

We can make a difference to this figure and it won't cost our customers a thing.

HOW?

We are placing green boxes in our branches. Simply place your used batteries in the box and we, in partnership with our recycling partner will ensure they are transported to a recycling facility. This will be done in the most efficient way to ensure we are minimising the impact on the environment throughout the process.

What?

We can receive sealed batteries that are easily carried by an average person, that are non-industrial and non-automotive batteries.

This includes:

• AA, AAA, C, D, 9v and other such standard batteries
• Laptop batteries
• Mobile phone batteries
• Power tool batteries
• Button Cell batteries

If you are unsure if we can accept your waste batteries, please ask and we will be pleased to advise you.

Terms and Conditions

Stage Electrics reserves the right to refuse batteries that are not included in the collection scheme provided by our suppliers.

We are happy to accept batteries from appliances but only accept whole appliances at our discretion.

Stage Electrics does not offer a collection service for used batteries at this time.
