The Wrigley Company, which has been active in the UK since 1911, held their 2008 national conference at the prestigious Celtic Manor resort. Stage Electrics worked with them to produce the multi-discipline event reflecting Wrigley's innovative brand values.
The event, held over two days, saw the bringing together of over 350 delegates. Stage Electrics provided:
- Complete design of all conference environments
- Management of all the artistic content and speakers' messages, as well as presentation skills coaching
- Technical solutions including lighting, rigging, audio and video equipment
- Production of presentation slides and 60 video packages
The impressive conference area had to be flexible enough to cater for two environments. The area was initially set up with a circular stage with 3 walk-ways, which was then completely redesigned for the evening event. Everything, from funky furniture, live bands and an award ceremony, to Wii and Playstation games, a surf simulator and a giant Scalextric track was intricately planned and managed. After the evening's entertainment, the crew transformed the room overnight back into the main conference setting for a 9am start the following day.
Breakout sessions required teams of delegates to make a movie in just three hours. Stage Electrics provided 30 Sony Z1 cameras and tripods, along with three editors who worked throughout the night to polish the films in time for an Oscar style awards ceremony the next day.
Technical production of the entire event was managed by Stage Electrics technical crew who were present not only for the fit-up but throughout each conference session, so the Wrigley management team could focus on the delivery of the content. Stage Electrics also provided a Creative director to manage all the conference messages and to oversee the artistic content of the conference.
"This was one our best conferences ever. We were very impressed with the Stage Electrics team, who worked tirelessly on every detail in order to ensure everything went as planned and our vision for the event came to life. Their collaborative approach to working with us as a client made the whole process enjoyable, and we look forward to working with them on future events."
