Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Birmingham Botanical Gardens has relied upon Stage Electrics' technical expertise for some years, so when they decided to create a breathtaking night spectacular award show for their visitors to enjoy, Stage Electrics was the obvious choice.
At what was essentially a quiet time of year for visitors, our client briefed us to design, install and maintain night lighting over three weekends in the winter.
As the event was outdoors, all equipment naturally had to be weatherproof and, as always, health & safety aspects were of paramount importance. With minimal power available, Stage Electrics was required to install temporary generators and also to consider access issues whilst designing the grounds.
The design team created separate zones for the gardens, each with its individual style and highlights. The normally beautiful gardens were transformed into a spectrum of vibrant colour enjoyed immensely by visitors.
