Stage Electrics is proud to have been part of the official Royal Wedding celebrations in London's Royal Parks on 29th April.
The Royal Park Events formed part of the BBC's live global broadcast, with presenters on stages at each site and live music for the wedding celebrations in the afternoon. These free public events attracted the largest audience ever for a Stage Electrics stage - over 100,000 in Trafalgar Square and up to 300,000 in Hyde Park!
Stage Electrics' client for this project was Jack Morton, working for GLA, Department for Culture Media & Sport, Royal Parks & Westminster City Council. Stage Electrics was asked to pull together the technical element of the event in a short turnaround time and supplied an Arc Roof stage in Hyde Park and a SmartStage in Trafalgar Square, both stages were supplied with a complete lighting solution and bespoke white drapes which were sourced and supplied in just five days.
It was a highly successful event with both sites set up the day before and a smooth get out with the Arc Roof stage being dismantled in just 4 hours.
