In order to comply with health & safety regulations, Stage Electrics' experienced Health & Safety Manager Liz Reed, works closely with our departments to ensure all staff are fully aware of their obligations and of best practice. It is our objective to exceed regulations in this area.
Liz Reed, talks about risk assessments as a fundamental process which should always be incorporated into your working practices.
"Risk assessments need not be long and complicated - they need to cover SIGNIFICANT hazards and what you are doing to control and minimise the risk. Remember a hazard is anything with the potential to cause harm, and risk is the likelihood of harm occurring and the potential severity of that harm.
Some work activities will always be high risk due to the severity of a potential accident - for example driving or working at height."
