Ropetackle Arts Centre
Stage Electrics was approached by Ropetackle Arts Centre to convert a newly built, empty studio space into a performance venue capable of holding a wide variety of performances. Stage Electrics was the obvious choice for the installation, having a long standing relationship with the client after numerous previous projects.
The key objective was to create a versatile performance venue. A drape installation was fitted to overcome the unusual shape of the venue and to make best use of the space available. The drape provided defined performance and backstage areas capable of catering for a range of performances.
Stage Electrics rely on equipment at the forefront of today's technical performance industry. The audio, lighting and projection installation pioneered the use of Roland Sound Snake. The venue's cinema capabilities were delivered via a Panasonic DLP projector, providing a high quality solution for the venue's cinema days.
Stage Electrics was a fantastic company to work with. The course of this project was not always easy and we were supported at every stage by the professionalism, experience and patience of the staff from Stage Electrics who were involved. The result is a fully functioning multipurpose venue popular with both performers and audience.
