Shaping the Future
2nd March 2009
Stage Electrics has announced exciting new developments to the shape of their business designed to meet the needs of a changing marketplace.
The company has expanded their already successful technical field sales team to 32 sales professionals based all over Great Britain. This move helps Stage Electrics to achieve their objective of getting closer to individual customers in order to serve them better. In addition, Stage Electrics has restructured staff at their headquarters to create a central Sales and Hire Support Team. The team with specialists from all disciplines is available for customers from 8 am until 8 pm.
Further reinforcement of the company's drive to get closer to their customers is the introduction of new Regional Support Offices. Now with locations in Edinburgh, Manchester, Tyneside, Cambridge, Birmingham, London, Exeter and Plymouth all supported by their Bristol headquarters, Stage Electrics believe they offer customers a local service second to none.
Stage Electrics expansion compliments the company's new WebShop which, since its launch last November, has seen an increase in online sales of over 400%. "Customers' buying behaviour has changed enormously" says Linda Moore, Head of Sales and Marketing, "they expect access to products and services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and our WebShop delivers that. Our plan is to continue to invest in developing our site to keep it the best in the market place".
David Whitehead, Managing Director explains, "A natural time to look forward is in a changing commercial environment. With rapidly increasing shifts in the way our customers do business, staying ahead and shaping the future requires timely and inspirational change." He continues, "We have listened to our customers and have responded by transforming our routes to market to ensure we continue to give the best possible service, now and in the future."
