Introduction:

Our student courses combine creative practical exercises and short classes/workshops which communicate the basic principles of theatre lighting. They guide students towards understanding lighting and speaking about aims and interpretation. They also cover areas (including paperwork) that students would be assessed on if undertaking a performance support module as part of GCSE Drama or GCE Drama (Unit 2 AS and unit 3 A2) and practical work in a Creative and Media Diploma or BTEC(s) in Performing Arts.
