Course objectives:
This course provides delegates with an understanding of the fundamentals of sound and audio reproduction. This one day training is delivered via a mixture of both theory and hands on practical sessions, giving delegates the knowledge to set up and control sound equipment with confidence.

- Signal flow - what constitutes an audio chain?
- Overview of a complete system.
- Microphones - types and uses.
- Mixing desks - overview and control - including Digital Mixers.
- Amplification - matching the right amplifier to the speaker.
- Speakers - overview of the different types and their applications.
- Feedback - What is it? How do I stop it happening?
- Effects - when, where and why do I need them?
