Course objectives:- To provide instruction on the safe use of ladders, steps, tallescopes and access towers in the workplace and how the Work at Height Regulations 2005 affect our industry.

- Selecting the correct equipment
- Ladder and stepladder safety
- Pre-use checks
- Tallescope safety
- Types of mobile elevating work platform (MEWP)

- Other areas of working at height in the entertainment industry
- Hazards and accidents
- Ladder & Zarges practical
- Tallescope practical
- Multiple choice assessment paper
Delegates will be issued with a Stage Electrics certificate at the end of the course.
What do you need to bring?
You will need to wear safety boots.
Course entry criteria:
All applicants should be physically fit, in good health and should, generally, not have problems with their eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights/vertigo, giddiness/difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.
