The XMG-51 DMX merger merges up to five DMX lines into a single one, enabling the concurrent use of multiple DMX lighting control systems on a single light setup. It merges DMX data according to your settings, making it versatile for various applications.
The 512 channels can be distributed among a maximum of five controllers. For instance, controller A manages channels 1-48, controller B handles channels 50-74, and channels 200-400 are under the control of controller C.
Multiple lighting controllers can operate using the same channels, allowing several controllers to access a single lamp simultaneously. The prioritization of controllers is configurable, with options such as HTP (highest takes priority) or LTP (latest takes priority).
A portable light controller can be plugged into various locations within the venue. The merger identifies the location of the controller and automatically switches the corresponding port to the output.
The XMG-51 merger enables simultaneous use of a backup lighting controller alongside the main one. In the event of the main controller's failure, the merger seamlessly switches to the backup controller automatically.
The XMG-51 is equipped with an integrated bypass relay that links the output to a designated input should there be a power supply failure.
