The Challenge

ICC Wales aimed to be one of the UK’s most forward-thinking and sustainable convention centres.
This meant designing a bright, user-friendly space where technology served delegates efficiently—yet remained mindful of the environment and financial constraints.
Our team began by advising on lighting systems but soon took on a broader, more collaborative role. We provided expertise in technical specifications, while also helping manage cost and budgetary decisions.
The Solution
A Holistic, Technical Approach
Stage Electrics oversaw design, specification, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of audio-visual (AV), production lighting, and sound systems. This included cabling, facility panels, and racks.

- Focused Labour: Non-specialist tasks were outsourced to approved contractors, allowing Stage Electrics’ specialists to concentrate on core technical and budget considerations.
