Stage Electrics Supplies Next Generation of Performers with Cutting-Edge ETC Lighting Set-Up for Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

Stage Electrics are proud to have assisted Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in their successful upgrade from tungsten to LED lighting, empowering the next generation of performers.

Lead Production Technician at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts Matthew Weeks approached the Stage Electrics team looking to upgrade their existing tungsten lights to LED and to enhance their existing LED rig.

Working closely with Matthew, Matt Jones and Jonathan Thornhill, production technicians at LIPA, the Stage Electrics team conducted extensive trials with various demo kits from multiple brands. This process ensured that the chosen solution would perfectly align with LIPA's requirements and performance standards.

Stage Electrics recommended a state-of-the-art ETC LED lighting rig, consisting of 36 Colorsource V Fresnel lights, 12 Colorsource V Profile 25/50 fixtures, 26 Lustr 2’s, and 1 Gio @ 5 console. This impressive setup promised unparalleled performance and flexibility for LIPA's diverse range of productions as well as boasting increased energy efficiency.

Matthew Weeks expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, "We reached out to Stage Electrics to start the phased replacement of our tungsten features to new, industry-standard LED features.
