Stage Electrics Awarded ISO Accreditation

19/09/2019

Stage Electrics have been awarded three ISO accreditations OSHAS 45001:2018 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Impact, and ISO 9001:2015 for Occupational Health & Safety respectively.

Leading the process was Simon Cooper, Chief Engineer at Stage Electrics. Simon, as an experienced practitioner and having already implemented the process with sister company Northern Light, was the obvious choice to lead Stage Electrics through this process.

The sales, installation, and testing and maintenance operations within Stage Electrics worked together to achieve this goal, the team found many systems were already in place but had not been formally audited.

“These ISO accreditations help us to put the customer first” commented Simon “attaining these universally recognised standards is an important achievement that demonstrates the professionalism with which we operate”.

The ISO accreditations are standards developed by the International Standards Organisation that set out the requirements for a quality management system which helps businesses to be more efficient and, improve customer satisfaction, whilst being aware of their environmental impact and assessing their health and safety practices.

Maria Townsend, Group Chief Executive, commented: “Preparing for the ISO audit was a lot of work, but as an experienced operator we had the majority of processes in place already, which you would expect for a business of our size, they just needed auditing.” Maria continued, “we decided to become ISO accredited as it is an internationally recognised standard of quality, we believe this accreditation will help us to win yet more work”.
