Warehouse Operative Part-time - Bristol.

As a Warehouse Operative within the Warehouse your primary responsibilities are to fulfil the requirements of the department by order picking, putting away stock and cutting cable.

Key Responsibilities:
• Pick customer orders accurately.
• Locate and put away incoming stock against a location list.
• Cut lengths of cable accurately and efficiently against a requirement list.
• Maintain high standards of work practice and safety conscious behaviour.
• Help to keep stock controlled and maintained accurately.

This role is a part-time contract specifically for Monday and Tuesday every week.
By negotiation the role could also be for reduced hours within the wider 8.30am to 5.30pm day – perhaps to suit school hours. There may be the opportunity to work more days to cover illness or holidays.

Service Engineer - Bristol.

As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive repair activities on a wide variety of audio, lighting, visual and control systems. This activity will take place both in the workshop and on site. This work will involve attending customer sites to maintain & test their existing equipment, checking its functionality and making sure it is clean and operational. It will also involve making fault diagnosis and fault repairs on site and in the workshop. In some cases when a first-time fix is not possible on-site, you will be expected to propose an alternative/temporary solution, identify further works required and ensure the relevant details are noted accurately.

Part of the role will involve liaising closely with manufacturers or other staff within Stage Electrics to affect solutions satisfactorily. There will be an element of administrative paperwork, including ordering spares and invoicing customers. Your work will be in our Bristol based repair workshop and on site at customer venues, including but not limited to theatres, entertainment venues, educational establishments, houses of worship and conference facilities. You will need to maintain a high level of customer service in everything you do. Additionally, you will provide telephone support to customers when required, assisting them with their service query, and identifying the best course of action e.g. site visit, workshop repair or otherwise. This is a full-time role and occasionally you will be required to travel & stay away from home as part of the role, with overnight accommodation provided. Electrical Installer & Inspector – Scotland & Northern England

As an Electrical Installer & Inspector based in Scotland and Northern England, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), In-Service Inspection and Testing Of Electrical Equipment (PAT testing) and installation activities as required on a wide variety of specialist electrical installations in venues including, but not limited to, theatres, entertainment venues, educational establishments, houses of worship and conference facilities.

You will be expected to carry out your duties in accordance with relevant industry guidance and adhering to internal Company policies as advised by the Qualified Supervisor, and any appointed Team Leader/Site Supervisor. Your duties will also include attending jobs at customer sites that have been scheduled by our Resourcing Department, to conduct EICR’s, being the responsible Engineer on site when directed, carry out installation work including general site work relevant to the business and remedial works. You will be working as part of our Venue Services’ electrical team based in Scotland and Northern England. Whilst on site you will be expected to complete reports, assist other with their duties, carry out testing and inspecting activities, offer technical advice to customers and maintain a high level of customer service. Some tasks will require the erection and/or use of appropriate access equipment to enable working at height.

This is a permanent role which will involve a significant amount of working away from home during the week, with ad-hoc overnight and weekend working. Additionally, a significant proportion of the work is distributed during school holiday periods. There will be a requirement to assist with other duties such as mechanical inspections of theatrical equipment, service of customers’ equipment and any other duties deemed reasonable by your line manager.

Maintenance Technician – Scotland & Northern England

As our Maintenance Technician based in Scotland and Northern England,  you will be responsible for carrying out In-Service Inspections and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT testing) activities and planned preventative maintenance on a wide variety of audio, lighting, visual and control equipment in venues including, but not limited to, theatres, entertainment venues, educational establishments, houses of worship and conference facilities.

You will be expected to attend jobs at customer sites that have been scheduled by our Resourcing Department and carry out maintenance and PAT testing activities as required. You will be expected to frequently work as part of a wider team on-site, helping and assisting in all aspects of work. However, on occasion, you will be required to work alone on customers sites and as such you must be comfortable with, and capable of, safe working practices when lone working. Whether working alone or in a team, you will be required to demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism in the carrying out of your work. Whilst on-site you will be expected to complete reports, offer basic technical advice on equipment and maintain a high level of customer service. Some tasks may require working at height on appropriate access equipment.

Upon completion of jobs you will expected to download results from the PAT tester to send to the Company’s head office, along with completed maintenance reports, promptly. Where reports are unable to be completed on site, you will complete them as soon as practicable afterwards and in all cases before the end of the week in question.

Are you an experienced Project Manager working with technical systems design (lighting, audio, visual, control networks and/or rigging systems) in the temporary or permanent installation sector for performing arts, leisure, broadcast or corporate sector? Due to our continuing expansion and strong order book we are looking for new team members, like you, to join our existing team. Working with a large range of opportunities and in a wide range of sectors, you would be working with our Business Development team and Engineering team from first enquiry to final handover and training. Our projects managers bring costing and design expertise along with the responsibility to manage procurement planning, the works on and offsite, specification and financial control and most importantly client satisfaction. While we work throughout the UK and internationally with offices in Bristol and Edinburgh, our Project Managers are generally field/home based.

Commercial Manager – Venue Services - Vacancy

Our Inspection, Testing, and Compliance Team is enjoying continued growth. We are now looking for an additional Commercial Manager to support the continuing growth in sales and operations across the UK. The role is essential in supporting the sales effort whilst managing the scope of works offered, financial performance of the works and ensuring we continue to deliver the highest levels of confidence to our clients for their compliance related testing, inspection & maintenance. We offer electrical and mechanical inspection, testing & maintenance services (fixed wiring, lighting, audio, visual, control networks and rigging systems) within the performing arts, leisure, broadcast, and corporate sector. If you have relevant experience in any of these areas and would enjoy working closely with the Business Development team and having control and responsibility for the Inspection teams, their work, further development and the expansion of this team across the UK, we would love to hear from you.

While we work throughout the UK and internationally with offices in Bristol and Edinburgh, our preference is that this role is office based with regular travel.
